Job Overview A law firm seeks a Corporate Tax Associate in Santa Monica, CA. The ideal candidate will have experience in tax aspects of complex corporate and partnership transactions, including strategic and private equity M&A transactions, and domestic and international tax planning. Responsibilities Advise on tax matters impacting high-growth businesses and their investors. Work on strategic and private equity M&A transactions. Engage in domestic and international tax planning and structuring. Requirements 3-6 years of experience in a law firm or comparable setting. Exceptional academic credentials. Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills. Membership to the State Bar of the office location. Education Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree. Certifications State Bar membership in the expected office location. Skills Excellent communication and logical reasoning skills. Strong research and organizational abilities.
