Accounting Manager

We are on the hunt for a seasoned professional who possesses in-depth knowledge of accounting, fixed assets, and payroll. As our Accounting Manager, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining our company’s general ledger, processing payroll, preparing tax returns, and managing internal financial reporting. Key Responsibilities: Developing internal controls in collaboration with the CFO Generating ad hoc financial reports and completing other projects as needed Overseeing and analyzing all general ledger aspects Timely preparation of monthly financial statements Collaboration in year-end review preparation and tax return processing Managing data effectively through compilation and analysis Preparing and filing monthly, quarterly sales tax, and 1099 returns Paying and reporting excise tax and VA diversion fees Processing biweekly payroll and ensuring accuracy Monitoring and entering payroll deductions in collaboration with HR Overseeing company cell phones and managing platforms Requirements: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field or equivalent work experience Strong analytical aptitude and attention to detail Excellent verbal and written communication alongside stellar organizational skills At least 3 years of experience in a position similar to this or a related accounting role Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems Comprehensive understanding and experience with Accounting Functions Demonstrated experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Proven ability to reconcile payroll Experience in Month End Close Procedures Competency in reviewing financial statements for accuracy Experience in managing accounts for multiple entities Ability to work both independently and as a team member Adherence to a high ethical standard and integrity At Robert Half, we value hard work and dedication. #J-18808-Ljbffr 6AM City, LLC
