Trust and Estates Legal Assistant

LHH

We are seeking an experienced Trust & Estates Legal Secretary to support an estate planning and probate practice. This is a full-time opportunity offering strong attorney interaction, a collaborative environment, and meaningful client support work. Key Responsibilities: Provide direct administrative and legal support to Trusts & Estates attorneys Prepare, and format estate planning documents (wills, trusts, powers of attorney, directives, etc.) Assist with probate filings, court submissions, and correspondence Manage attorney calendars, deadlines, and client communication Handle billing: pre-bills, edits, time entry follow-up, and invoicing Organize and maintain physical and electronic files Coordinate meetings, scheduling, travel, and general administrative support Maintain confidentiality while working with sensitive client informationEnsure accuracy through strong proofreading and document review skills Qualifications: Recent Trusts & Estates legal secretary experience required Strong understanding of estate planning documents 5+ years of legal administrative experience (preferred) Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) Experience with legal billing systems Strong proofreading and document formatting skills High level of professionalism, discretion, and client service Ability to manage multiple attorneys and competing priorities Why This Role: True team collaboration — attorneys and staff work seamlessly together Stable practice with low turnover and consistent workflow Firm-paid medical insurance + $250/month HSA contribution from Day 1 Profit-sharing from Day 1 Discretionary year-end bonus Monthly staff activities & wellness programs If you’re an experienced Trust & Estates legal professional looking for a stable, respectful firm where you can make a meaningful impact, we’d love to speak with you. #J-18808-Ljbffr
