We are looking for a Bank Operations Specialist to support critical back-office banking activities in the Twin Cities Minnesota. This role focuses on handling operational tasks that carry financial, regulatory, and customer service implications, requiring strong judgment, attention to detail, and timely follow-through. The ideal candidate brings practical experience in bank operations, can navigate customer and staff inquiries effectively, and is committed to maintaining compliance with applicable banking standards.

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily operational workflows involving account records, deposit products, and related banking support functions with accuracy and urgency.

• Review and process fraud-related cases, helping to reduce risk exposure while ensuring appropriate documentation and follow-up.

• Respond to legal and regulatory requests such as subpoenas, levies, and account inquiries in accordance with established procedures.

• Complete certificate of deposit setup, renewal updates, and related maintenance activities while preserving accurate customer records.

• Monitor dormant and inactive accounts, research returned mail, and assist with unclaimed property reporting and resolution efforts.

• Troubleshoot digital payment issues, process wire transfers, and verify organizational wire setups under dual-control standards.

• Update debit card settings for customer travel notifications and case-related changes, and assist with dispute handling and exception processing.

• Perform document imaging, mobile deposit review, and other operational support duties that contribute to efficient branch and back-office service.

• Maintain adherence to bank policies and applicable state and federal regulations, including payment, deposit, funds availability, and consumer protection requirements.

• 1+ years of hands-on experience, including prior work in customer service and exposure to banking operations.

• 1+ years of experience in a bank operations environment with responsibility for deposit, payment, or account servicing activities.

• Demonstrated experience supporting fraud investigations or fraud-related banking processes.

• Working knowledge of bank operations, demand deposit accounts, deposit products, wire activity, and payment processing.

• National Check certification is required.

• Accredited ACH certification is required.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

• Familiarity with Fiserv core banking systems is preferred, and audit-related experience is a plus.
