About the Role:

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work closely with our physical therapists to design and implement treatment plans that promote patient independence, mobility, and overall well-being. Your responsibility will include:

• Assisting physical therapists with patient evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress reporting

• Implementing treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist

• Providing education and training to patients, family members, and caregivers on proper techniques and exercises

• Maintaining accurate records and reporting patient progress

• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care

Responsibilities:

• Assist physical therapists with patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress reports

• Provide direct patient care, including exercises, stretching, and strengthening programs

• Educate patients, family members, and caregivers on proper techniques and exercises

• Maintain accurate records and report patient progress

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient satisfaction surveys

Requirements:

• Associate's degree in Physical Therapist Assistant or related field

• Current PTA certification

• Ability to lift, transfer, and support patients as needed

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
