Client Growth & Acquisition Lead (Paid Media)

About the Role Group 8A is seeking a Growth & Business Development Manager responsible for generating new client opportunities for our paid media services. The ideal candidate will help build and execute lead generation channels, for example, outbound prospecting, partnerships, inbound opportunities, and strategic relationships. You will work closely with leadership to identify growth opportunities, initiate conversations with potential clients, and develop scalable pipelines of qualified brands that can benefit from Group 8A’s services. This role is ideal for someone who understands performance marketing and the agency ecosystem and enjoys building relationships with marketing leaders at growing brands. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute strategies to generate qualified leads for Group 8A’s paid media services. Lead generation channels may include: Outbound prospecting (email, LinkedIn, networking) Strategic partnerships with complementary service providers Referral relationships with agencies, platforms, and consultants Inbound lead engagement and qualification (Meta, Google, LinkedIn etc.) Industry events, communities, and relationship building Identify brands that fit Group 8A’s ideal client profile and initiate conversations with marketing leaders. Build and maintain a consistent pipeline of qualified opportunities. Lead Qualification & Discovery Engage with prospective clients to understand: Paid media performance Growth objectives Budget and internal capabilities Determine whether the brand is a strong fit for Group 8A’s services and coordinate qualified discovery calls with internal leadership. Track pipeline activity and opportunity progression in HubSpot. Maintain organized records of outreach, meetings, and deal progress. Collaborate with internal teams to refine targeting, messaging, and positioning. Stay informed on trends in: Paid media performance marketing E-commerce growth strategies Provide insights on market demand, client pain points, and opportunities to refine Group 8A’s positioning. Qualifications Required 1-3+ years of experience in business development, growth, partnerships, or lead generation within the digital marketing or agency ecosystem. Experience building pipelines through inbound and/or outbound and/or partnerships. Strong communication and relationship-building skills. Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously. Preferred Experience working at a digital marketing agency or selling marketing services. Experience working with e-commerce brands. Familiarity with CRM and prospecting tools such as: HubSpot Apollo Hunter.io Understanding of performance marketing metrics such as ROAS, CPA, CTR, and CAC.
