Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students and school communities just outside Des Plaines, IL! Two full-time roles are available for licensed School Psychologists, starting August 26, 2026 through June 11, 2027, Monday through Friday. These positions collaborate across elementary, middle, and high school levels, ensuring comprehensive psychological services for a diverse caseload.

Opportunities include:

• Early Childhood School Psychologist (0.6 FTE, 3 days/week): Focus on screening and evaluating students transitioning out of early intervention, as well as ages 3–5. Requires travel between three preschools, strong communication skills, and a commitment to supporting families new to special education. Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, and partner closely with general and special education teams.
• School Psychologist for Grades K–4 (1.0 FTE, 5 days/week): Lead evaluations, facilitate MTSS data team meetings, guide problem-solving, and support IEP processes. Serve as a key liaison for families and educational staff, facilitating IEP meetings and re-evaluations.

What you’ll bring:

• Current licensure as a School Psychologist in the state of IL.
• Experience with K–12 and/or early childhood populations.
• Solid understanding of special education law and best practices.
• Ability to conduct eligibility meetings, re-evaluation reviews, and functional behavioral assessments.
• Excellent communication skills and collaborative spirit with both families and professional teams.
• Willingness to travel between local sites (for the early childhood role).
