Work Environment

This position is onsite at our outpatient clinic in Daly City, a bustling area known for its vibrant community and access to various amenities. Our clinic fosters a collaborative atmosphere, encouraging teamwork among healthcare professionals to align on treatment goals and strategies. The work hours for this position are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, offering a balanced work-life schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized care, typically treating 1 to 2 patients per hour, ensuring each patient receives focused and engaged rehabilitation therapy.
• Utilize evidence-based techniques and therapies to improve patient mobility and alleviate pain, including manual therapy, exercise prescriptions, and modalities like ultrasound or electrical stimulation.
• Regularly assess patient progress and modify treatment plans accordingly to optimize rehabilitation outcomes while enhancing patient participation in their own healing processes.
• Thoroughly document patient interactions and treatment plans using the WebPT system, ensuring compliance with legal standards and collaborative communication with multi-disciplinary healthcare teams.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your patients will primarily include individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, or chronic pain conditions. Our clinic serves a diverse demographic, offering an opportunity to impact lives across various ages and backgrounds, providing the necessary education and support to aid in their recovery.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required; a Master's or Doctorate is preferred.
• An active California Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain one before starting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess and treat a variety of orthopedic conditions effectively.
• A genuine commitment to patient-centered care, showing empathy and a can-do attitude to motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journeys.

Preferred Experience

While 2 years of clinical experience as a physical therapist is required, candidates with a background in orthopedic rehabilitation or specialized training in manual therapy approaches will be highly regarded. Familiarity with modern rehabilitation technologies and practices will enhance your candidacy.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $120,000 to $130,000, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
