We are actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our esteemed team at the Moon Orthopedic Rehabilitation Center in San Francisco, California. We specialize in treating individuals with a wide range of orthopedic conditions, focusing primarily on patients with private insurance. As part of a collaborative and innovative team, you will work alongside two experienced physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA), all of whom share a commitment to excellence in patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patient needs and establish personalized rehabilitation goals.
• Administer evidence-based treatments, ensuring alignment with the latest clinical guidelines and best practices.
• Maintain a structured schedule of one patient per hour, delivering comprehensive therapy sessions tailored to each individual.
• Develop and implement detailed care plans utilizing a variety of treatment modalities, focusing on functional mobility enhancement.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment strategies as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Document patient services and care provided meticulously, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Engage with patients to motivate them throughout their recovery journey, helping them set realistic goals and celebrate their achievements.
• Provide education on injury prevention, health promotion, and the benefits of a healthy lifestyle.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians and therapists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patients primarily consist of individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries and surgeries, including joint replacements, fractures, and sports-related injuries. By focusing on personalized treatment plans, our goal is to empower patients to return to their desired level of activity and independence, making significant strides in their mobility, strength, and overall function.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent qualification.
• Current California state licensure as a Physical Therapist without any disciplinary actions.
• Proven expertise in manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercise prescription.
• Ability to adapt assessments and techniques to diverse patient populations.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT or similar platforms.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• Demonstrated success in developing individualized care plans that address specific patient needs.
• Experience working collaboratively within a team atmosphere to enhance patient care.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
