Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Wholesale Sales Specialist based in Hawthorne, CA. The Wholesale Sales Specialist will manage existing wholesale accounts, identify and develop new business opportunities, and provide exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction. Responsibilities include analyzing sales data, preparing sales reports, maintaining communication with retail partners, and assisting in executing sales strategies to drive revenue and enhance brand visibility.

As a Wholesale Sales Representative, you will be the face of Hypland in your territory. You’ll prospect and close independent boutiques, anime specialty shops, streetwear retailers, pop culture stores, and regional chains—building genuine relationships that turn into recurring purchase orders. This is a hunter role: you identify opportunities, open doors, present product, and close the deal.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Prospect and cold-contact retail buyers via in-person visits, email, phone, and trade shows
• Present the Hypland line—seasonal collections and licensed drops—to boutique owners and retail buyers
• Coordinate and deliver product samples to prospective accounts
• Negotiate wholesale pricing, minimums, and terms in alignment with Hypland’s guidelines
• Write and submit purchase orders accurately and on time
• Coordinate delivery logistics with Hypland’s operations team to ensure smooth fulfillment
• Maintain ongoing relationships with existing accounts to drive reorders and expand SKU penetration
• Represent the brand at trade shows, pop-ups, and industry events when applicable
• Track your pipeline and report weekly on account activity, meetings booked, and revenue closed
• Gather and relay buyer feedback to help inform future product and merchandising decisions

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Wholesale and Sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
• Strong Customer Service skills with the ability to build and maintain effective client relationships
• Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, for engaging with clients and team members
• Analytical Skills to evaluate sales data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights
• Familiarity with the fashion or streetwear industry is a plus
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to excel in a fast-paced environment
