Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Response in Westlake, LA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. You will support access control, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and deliver exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical/petrochemical location.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, access points, parking areas, operational areas, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
Monitor access to designated areas, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity.
Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders according to established protocols.
Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, observations, incidents, and security-related activities, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
Be 21 years of age or older.
A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
