Project Development & Finance Associate

Overview Candidates should have experience in practices involving project finance, project-related joint ventures, and/or commercial contracts. The Project Development and Finance group advises clients on the development and project financing of natural resources, energy, renewables, green/sustainable, and infrastructure developments. The firm's Project Development and Finance group focuses on a small number of the world's largest and most complex projects, rather than a high volume of routine projects. Posting details Sullivan & Cromwell is seeking experienced associates to join the Firm's General Practice (corporate) - Project Development & Finance group. Ideal candidates should have at least two years of experience working at a law firm in practices involving project finance and project related joint ventures and/or commercial contracts. This is an opportunity for experienced lawyers, and as such, current law students are not eligible for consideration for this role. Salary The associate base salary is tied to assigned associate class year. The standard scale is included below.

1. st year (Class of 2025): $235,000
2. nd year (Class of 2024): $245,000
3. rd year (Class of 2023): $270,000
4. th year (Class of 2022): $320,000
5. th year (Class of 2021): $385,000
6. th year (Class of 2020): $410,000
7. th year (Class of 2019): $440,000
8. th year (Class of 2018): $455,000
9. th year (Class of 2017): $455,000
