Description

• Assess patients across diverse demographics-pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics-through standardized instruments and observational evaluations.

• Deliver individualized speech therapy interventions that enhance communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing capabilities.
• Collaborate seamlessly with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nursing staff, physicians, caregivers, and family members to formulate integrated care plans.
• Provide essential education to patients and their families, empowering them to support progress independent of clinical sessions.
• Occasionally conduct speech therapy evaluations and interventions in inpatient settings, ensuring a smooth continuum of care during the treatment process.
• Maintain precise, prompt documentation compliant with state, federal, and organizational regulations.
• Engage in continuous professional development by staying abreast of significant advancements in your field through educational opportunities and peer collaboration.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not ASHA-certified yet.

Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
