Job Title: Tele/Ambulatory Care RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Ambulatory Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum of 2 years of solid telemetry experience and ACU/PACU experience required License: Valid RN Licensure Certifications: BLS (AHA) Must-Have: CA RN Licensure BLS Certification 2 years of telemetry experience ACU/PACU experience Description: The Tele/Ambulatory Care RN is accountable for the assessment, coordination, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care. This includes direct patient care, patient/family education, and transitions of care in an acute patient setting. The RN delivers holistic and individualized care to all patients in an assigned area. The position involves developing, implementing, and coordinating a plan of care that incorporates psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors. The RN fosters and maintains collaborative relationships between patients, their family/support group, physicians, and other healthcare providers. Effective communication is essential for the timely and effective delivery of care. Experience in charting systems is required, with Epic being preferred. Candidates with charge experience are preferred. This position is suitable for individuals with experience in a fast-paced nursing environment, demonstrating strong critical thinking and clinical skills.
