University of San Diego Director of Development, Kroc School of Peace Studies Bryant Group is proud to continue its partnership with the University of San Diego in the search for an accomplished and mission-driven fundraiser to serve as Director of Development for the Joan B. Kroc School of Peace Studies. This is a rare opportunity to advance philanthropic support for one of the nation's most distinctive graduate institutions — a school dedicated to equipping changemakers to build more peaceful and just societies. Reporting to the associate vice president for development, the Director of Development will serve as the primary frontline fundraiser for the Kroc School, managing a portfolio of major gift prospects and donors and building lasting philanthropic relationships that fuel the School's mission. The Director will partner closely with the Dean and faculty to translate the Kroc School's compelling work in peacebuilding, social innovation, restorative justice and humanitarian action into inspired giving from alumni, friends and institutional supporters. The ideal candidate brings a track record of successful major gift fundraising, community involvement, exceptional relationship-building skills and a genuine passion for the Kroc School’s mission. Experience working within a university or complex nonprofit environment, comfort engaging diverse donor communities and the ability to articulate a compelling case for support will be essential to success in this role. Perthe University of San Diego, the salary range of $110,000–$125,000 reflects what they reasonably expect to pay for this position.
