Job Brief
Kable Workforce Solutions is hiring a Production Team Lead for our client. This job is responsible for leading and supporting production associates to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing operations. This role provides daily direction, training, and performance coaching while assisting with machine setup, troubleshooting, changeovers, and quality initiatives.

What’s a Typical Day Like?

• Demonstrate leadership skills through effective communication and strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to motivate and sustain a positive attitude/awareness for team development and outlook
• Conduct associate development and training including on-the-job, work instructions, expectations, basic manufacturing to maximize their potential cross-functionally
• Handle disciplinary procedures when necessary (performance, attendance)
• Comfortable engaging with team members and able to delegate tasks daily
• Ability to perform quality layer checks
• Understands Quality/Containment and is proactively involved when sorts or quality issues arise
• Help identify gaps and contribute towards root causes and countermeasures
• Have the ability to perform the duties of a production associate (Operator, Team Lead)
• Capable of performing efficiently at levels of 90% in multiple cells when needed
• Basic troubleshooting, tool changes, changeovers, daily handoffs with peers, and the knowledge to set up all equipment in the cell
• Ability to input OEE data into the computer at the end of your shift
• Maintain cell: 5S, fixtures, tooling, and machines

What Are the Requirements of the Job?

• High school graduates with previous manufacturing experience a plus;
• Must have Lathe and CNC Machine experience;
• Must have excellent communication skills;
• Must have a good work ethic;
• Must be dependable and flexible with a good attendance record;
• Must be detailed oriented;
• Must stand, walk, push, pull, reach overhead, and bend to the floor;
• Always adheres to Company safety policies
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment.
• Ability to move or lift up to 50+ lbs.
• Ability to reach, grasp, hold, push, pull, bend, twist, squat, climb, kneel.
• Ability to utilize hand/eye coordination.
• Capability to stand for prolonged periods of time
