Production OperatorPay: $16.00–$18.00 per hour Schedule: 1st & 3rd Shifts Available - Monday–Thursday | 4-Day Workweek 1st Shift: 5:00 AM–3:00 PM 3rd Shift: 8:00 PM–6:00 AMWe are hiring Production Operators for a rubber manufacturing facility producing materials used in the tire industry and other industrial applications. This is a hands-on manufacturing position in a dirty, chemically driven production environment. Employees will work with rubber compounds, carbon black, oils, chemicals, and other raw materials. Candidates must be comfortable with physical work and industrial manufacturing conditions.Job ResponsibilitiesOperate industrial rubber mixing and production equipmentRead and follow manufacturing batch tickets and mixing instructionsIdentify raw materials using material codes and descriptionsLoad and properly mix raw materials according to production specificationsOperate mixer controls, including the oil injection systemFollow daily production schedules and meet scheduled batch requirementsComplete batch tickets, daily production reports, and other required documentationMake and position supersacks for the mixer discharge chuteClean mixing equipment as requiredMaintain a clean and organized work areaProperly handle and return oil drums to designated warehouse locationsDrain or combine empty oil drums when requiredCommunicate production, quality, equipment, and safety issues to your supervisorAssist in other production areas as neededFollow all company safety procedures and requirementsRequirementsPrevious manufacturing experience requiredMechanically inclined and comfortable working with industrial equipmentPrevious rubber manufacturing or mixing experience preferredForklift experience preferredComfortable working around chemicals, carbon black, rubber, oils, dust, and industrial odorsAble to read and follow detailed production and batch instructionsAble to accurately complete production paperworkMust be able to stand and remain on your feet throughout an 8– 10 hour shiftMust be able to repeatedly climb stairs throughout the shiftMust be capable of heavy lifting and physically demanding workMust be medically approved to wear required respiratory protectionDependable, safety-conscious, and able to work as part of a teamCandidates with experience in manufacturing, rubber, chemical processing, mixing, compounding, plastics, tire production, or similar industrial environments are encouraged to apply.
