Assistant Project Manager

Overview Support dynamic construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring quality, timeliness, and adherence to industry standards. Collaborate with project managers to develop detailed plans, schedules, and budgets for successful project execution. Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure efficient resource allocation and project progress. Monitor project milestones, identify risks, and implement proactive solutions to maintain timelines and budgets. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards throughout all phases of construction. Participate in client meetings, providing updates on project status and addressing concerns effectively. Contribute to fostering a collaborative and positive work environment within the project team. Assist in financial tracking and reporting to maintain budgetary oversight and accountability. Key Responsibilities & Duties Assist in planning, coordinating, and supervising construction projects to ensure successful and timely delivery. Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and progress reports. Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to align project goals and deliverables effectively. Monitor construction activities, resolving issues promptly to maintain project timelines and quality standards. Support procurement processes, including sourcing materials and negotiating contracts with suppliers. Ensure adherence to safety protocols and compliance with regulatory requirements at all project stages. Collaborate with project managers to optimize resource allocation and minimize operational costs. Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project progress, addressing challenges and celebrating milestones. Job Requirements Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 1 year of experience in construction project management; 4 years preferred. Proficiency in construction processes, safety regulations, and project management tools. Strong organizational and communication skills to coordinate with diverse teams and stakeholders. Ability to work on-site and adapt to dynamic construction environments effectively. Preferred certifications: PMP, OSHA, or equivalent construction management credentials. Proficiency in scheduling software and budget management systems for efficient project oversight.
