Registered Nurse - ICU

Registered Nurse (RN) in the Cardiothoracic ICU

Responsible for providing high-quality, evidence-based care to critically ill cardiac patients in a high-acuity environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care by completing the nursing process, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and supporting patients and families emotionally and educationally.
• Develop and document individualized care plans and maintain effective communication regarding patient status and treatment progress.
• Proficiently manage Electronic Health Records (EHR) with accurate documentation and communication.
• Ensure compliance with departmental, institutional, and regulatory protocols and education requirements.

Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing; RN license in New York State.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• At least 6 months RN experience preferred.
• Ability to perform medium work, including frequent walking, standing, and physical support tasks.
