Registered Nurse - Critical Care

Schedule
12 Hour Nights; 1900-0730 x3 shifts per week

Assignment Details

Requirements
- KS RN or Compact RN License
- BLS, ACLS, & NIH Certifications
- 2 years of recent Critical Care/ICU or Emergency Department experience
- Experience with BiPAP, chest tubes, PICC lines, and drawing labs
- Comfortable without a vascular access team, calling on own consults, and conducting own codes
- Open-heart Day 2 or Day 3 experience with pacer wires is preferred
- Familiarity with EPIC EMR

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients.
- Monitor patient conditions and collaborate with healthcare teams to determine necessary interventions.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Assist in emergency situations and conduct codes as required.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Float to other nursing units as needed, including ICU, Med/surg, Med/tele, Acute/tele, and ED.

Compliance / Notes
- Will start with a 2-day orientation at the main campus followed by specific training.
- Client is a nicotine-free facility.
- Bi-weekly pay period.
- Client may cancel one shift per 2-week pay period at no cost.
