Registered Nurse (RN) - PCU

RN – Critical Care

Shift: 12-hour Nights Time: 1900-0730 Days: 3 shifts per week Contract Length: 13 weeks Guaranteed Hours: Not specified

Requirements:

• KS RN or Compact RN License
• BLS and ACLS Certification
• 2 years of recent critical care/ICU or Emergency Department experience
• Experience with BiPAP, chest tubes, PICC lines, and drawing labs
• Experience with open-heart Day 2 or Day 3 and pacing wires
• Comfortability without a vascular access team and conducting own consults and codes

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in critical care settings.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions and respond appropriately.
• Manage life support equipment and administer medications as needed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.

Compliance / Notes:

• Orientation: Attend initial orientation days as specified.
• Facility policy: Nicotine-free environment.
• Client cancellation policy: One shift may be canceled at no cost to the client with a minimum 2-hour notice.
