Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $21.75 / Hour Job Schedule: Wed 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM; Thur 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM. What You'll Do: Provide customer service at a government location by carrying out assigned security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner while maintaining professionalism in an armed post. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions. Monitor access points and help to verify that visitors, employees, and contractors follow site entry and exit procedures in accordance with location requirements. Document incidents, observations, and/or security‑related concerns, and communicate with site contacts, law enforcement, and Allied Universal leadership as needed. Minimum Requirements: Possess at least 1 year of armed security‑related, law enforcement, and/or military experience. Possess at least 1 year of security‑related experience. Be at least 21 years of age. Customer service experience is preferred. CPR and First Aid are preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry‑specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
