Position: Security Guard Armed Patrol Location: Atlanta, GA Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $24.16 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM; Tue 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM; Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM; Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM; Sun 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while following site‑specific procedures, security‑related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or local authorities as needed. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or potential security‑related concerns. Monitor access points, verify credentials, and observe the movement of people and property to help support authorized access and established location protocols. Maintain a visible armed presence and report maintenance issues, suspicious behavior, and/or policy violations to help support the location's daily operations and security‑related objectives. Minimum Requirements: Have a minimum of 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security‑related experience, or possess a college degree. Be at least 21 years of age. Have a minimum of 5 years of security‑related experience. Pepper spray certification is preferred. CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry‑specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
