Zing Recruiting is partnering with a global automotive supplier specializing in the design, engineering, and manufacturing of innovative automotive components and systems. We are seeking a professional, organized, and customer-focused Receptionist to support front desk operations, office coordination, and corporate communications initiatives at their Troy, Michigan location.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests in a friendly, professional manner.
• Register visitors, issue badges, and assist employees with guest pre-registration while ensuring compliance with company security and safety protocols.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized reception area.
• Manage office supply ordering and distribution.
• Assist the Global Director of Communications with daily communications activities and special projects.
• Support the planning and execution of on-site events, including employee recognition programs, family events, and other company initiatives.
• Assist with community engagement and volunteer programs.
• Perform additional administrative and office support duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience in a receptionist, administrative, customer service, or similar role preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to build positive relationships with guests and employees.
• Strong organizational, planning, and multitasking abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
