Associate Attorney

A highly regarded national law firm is seeking a talented Litigation Associate with 2-4 years of experience to join its growing litigation practice. This position offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated, high-exposure litigation matters and gain hands-on experience throughout all phases of the litigation process, from initial case assessment through trial and appeal. The ideal candidate is intellectually curious, highly motivated, and eager to develop trial skills while working alongside experienced litigators in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. Responsibilities Participate in all stages of litigation, including pre-suit investigations, discovery, motion practice, trial preparation, and appeals Conduct legal and factual research involving individuals, businesses, and industry-specific matters Draft pleadings, motions, memoranda, and client communications Assist with case strategy development and trial preparation activities Prepare witnesses and clients for depositions, hearings, mediations, and trial proceedings Attend and participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and other litigation-related proceedings Manage multiple assignments and deadlines in a fast-paced practice environment Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school Active bar admission and good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction 2+ years of defense litigation experience required Experience in product liability, toxic tort, or other complex litigation matters is a plus Strong academic credentials and excellent legal research, writing, analytical, and communication skills Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively under tight deadlines Self-starter with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to exceptional client service Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with colleagues across offices Why Consider This Opportunity Exposure to sophisticated, high-stakes litigation matters Significant responsibility and hands-on litigation experience Mentorship from accomplished trial attorneys Collaborative and entrepreneurial culture Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability coverage, retirement savings plan, parental leave, and additional firm-sponsored benefits. Salary and Other Compensation The annual salary for this position is between $125,000 - $145,000 annually.
