Human Resource Generalist

Job Summary We’re looking for an experienced Human Resources Generalist with 3-5 years of progressive HR experience to support day-to-day HR operations and employee engagement initiatives at Century Fire Protection. Key Responsibilities Manage employee relations issues, including investigations and recommending resolutions. Conduct new hire orientation and onboarding. Maintain compliance with federal and state employment laws. Assist with policy administration and interpretation. Support performance management processes. Ensure accurate employee records and HR documentation. Prepare month‑end and ad‑hoc HR reports. Advise management on workforce planning, organizational development, and HR best practices. Participate in the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and programs. Facilitate HR programs and initiatives. Provide guidance to managers and employees on complex HR issues, policies, and compliance matters. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field. 3-5 years progressive HR experience in a Generalist role. Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR policies, and best practices. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems (Paycom preferred). Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and interpersonal skills. Experience with HR metrics and reporting. Strong communication and organizational skills; ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment. Experience handling confidential information with discretion. Experience in construction, service, or multi‑location environments is a plus. Workplace Position based in Duluth, GA. Requires 5 days in‑office; no remote or hybrid options.
