Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health evaluations, crisis interventions, and assessments for clients in need, employing evidence-based methodologies and frameworks.

• Participate in weekly clinical supervision sessions with your Clinical Supervisor to review cases, enhance skills, and ensure best practices are upheld.
\n
• Engage in multidisciplinary mental health and medical rounds, contributing to comprehensive treatment planning for each patient.
\n
• Deliver group therapy sessions and lead psychoeducational workshops, fostering a supportive space for shared experiences and recovery.
\n
• Document all client interactions and maintain accurate records according to organizational policies and state regulations, ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
\n
• Coordinate with Reentry Social Workers, providing insights into appropriate discharge planning services for clients transitioning from institutional settings.
\n
• Oversee the coordination of patient care with other institutional programs, seeking to develop a seamless treatment experience for clients.
\n
• If applicable, supervise and mentor social work interns or student volunteers, guiding their clinical development and enhancing the capacity of our services.
\n
• Contribute to statistical reporting and quality improvement efforts aimed at continuously enhancing the care provided at our clinic.
\n
• Collaborate effectively with the Department of Correction to ensure necessary access to treatment facilities and a conducive environment for healing.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with children, adolescents, and their families, addressing a range of mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. Qualifications\n

• Must possess a current license or be eligible for licensure as a therapist in the state of California.
