Director, New Business - Tech Leader

This is a high-impact sales leadership opportunity focused on building and scaling a brand-new global new business team.
The role leads Account Executives responsible for acquiring net-new technology clients with less than $1B in revenue.
You will shape the team's sales strategy, pipeline generation, territory planning, and revenue performance from the ground up.
As a hands-on leader, you will coach sales professionals, strengthen execution, and build a culture focused on consistent quota attainment.
The position works closely with Product, Marketing, and Client Success to create a seamless path from prospecting through client onboarding.
You will use performance data, forecasting, and market insights to identify opportunities and continuously improve sales effectiveness.
This remote U.S. role offers broad visibility, meaningful ownership, and the opportunity to influence growth within a globally recognized technology intelligence organization.

Accountabilities:

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of New Business Account Executives to achieve net-new logo revenue targets.
• Establish territory and account planning strategies across a portfolio of technology vendors and emerging-growth companies with less than $1B in revenue.
• Own team pipeline health, forecasting accuracy, CRM discipline, and overall sales execution.
• Recruit, onboard, motivate, and retain high-performing sales talent as the new team scales.
• Analyze sales performance data to identify trends, coaching opportunities, pipeline gaps, and process improvements.
• Partner with Product, Marketing, and Client Success teams to support effective client acquisition and onboarding.
• Represent the team in client meetings, industry events, and other strategic activities, with up to 25% travel as needed.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of B2B sales experience, including at least 2 years in a sales management or team leadership role.
• Experience selling to or within the technology sector, ideally working with technology vendors or emerging-growth businesses.
• Proven ability to coach and develop individual contributors toward consistent quota attainment.
• Strong Salesforce expertise, including pipeline management, forecasting, and CRM hygiene.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate performance data into practical sales and coaching actions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across Product, Marketing, Client Success, and other teams.
• Demonstrated ability to operate in a new or evolving sales environment and help establish scalable processes and team practices.

Benefits:

• Total annual compensation of $220,000–$240,000, depending on location and experience, including base salary and variable compensation.
