Portfolio Asset Management Manager

Position Portfolio Asset Management Manager (Bilingual Japanese/English) Summary A leading global housing and real estate group is seeking a Portfolio Asset Management Manager for its U.S. regional headquarters in the North Dallas area. This role will oversee existing real estate investment projects, support new business development (including Mass Timber/Hybrid developments), manage risk tracking, and facilitate financial reporting to their Japan headquarter. Visas/sponsorship can be considered for qualified candidates. Essential Duties Portfolio & Asset Management Oversight: Monitor ongoing real estate development projects, track financial health, leasing, sales, refinances, and additional capital calls while managing relations with AM firms, PMs, JV partners, and lenders. New Business & Investment Support: Assist in underwriting, market analysis, and structuring for new residential and Mass Timber / Hybrid development projects. Reporting & Approval Documentation: Prepare Investment Memorandums and internal approval materials for Tokyo HQ and senior executive review. Risk & Performance Tracking: Track defaults, impairment risks, and delays across portfolios; lead monthly/quarterly NOI, cash flow, and financial performance reporting. Japan HQ Coordination: Serve as a primary bridge to Tokyo headquarters (corporate planning, accounting, risk management) by translating and structuring U.S. operational data into clear strategic summaries. Working Hours / Working style Standard Business Hours, Full-time / Exempt. On-site / Hybrid (Office in Dallas, TX; working arrangements negotiable). Working Location North Dallas Area, Texas Salary / Benefit $120,000 - $150,000 / year (Depending on experience) Visa sponsorship available / negotiable for qualified candidates. Bilingual fluency in Japanese and English (Native-level Japanese for Tokyo HQ reporting; Professional English for local partners, lenders, and developers). Strong quantitative skills with experience analyzing financial models, market data, and underwriting materials (Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint). Familiarity with real estate JVs, loan agreements, refinances, or exit strategies is a strong plus.
