Physical Therapist - Inpatient Rehabilitation

Location Richmond, VA

Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule Monday to Friday; 8 hour shifts between 7am and 5pm, with rotating weekends.

Job Description We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist with experience in a hospital inpatient rehabilitation setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in stroke evaluation and treatment. You will work as part of a dedicated team to provide high-quality therapy services to patients recovering from strokes and other neurological conditions.

Responsibilities Conduct evaluations and develop individual treatment plans for patients. Implement therapeutic interventions to improve patient outcomes. Perform manual therapy for neuro re-education and therapeutic exercises. Facilitate functional activities and self-care training. Utilize advanced equipment such as Sara Lifts, Ceiling Lifts, and Bioness. Document patient progress using the Meditech Expanse system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital setting, specifically in inpatient rehabilitation. Experience with stroke patient evaluation and treatment required. No specific certifications required.
