Work Environment

Located in Arlington, Virginia, our modern rehabilitation center spans over 5,000 square feet and is equipped with cutting-edge sports medicine technology. The work environment emphasizes collaboration and teamwork, featuring a dedicated staff of experienced physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant. You will work onsite Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a structured yet flexible work schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess patients' needs, identifying personal goals and requirements for treatment.
• Maintain a focused caseload of one patient per hour to ensure quality, personalized care.
• Develop and implement custom treatment plans to address identified concerns while promoting functional independence.
• Utilize advanced manual therapy techniques to enhance patients’ mobility and alleviate discomfort.
• Incorporate various evidence-based treatment modalities, ensuring a comprehensive approach to rehabilitation.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously to ensure consistent care and effective interventions.
• Educate patients on injury prevention and self-management strategies to foster long-term health and wellness.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care, ensuring a holistic approach to treatment.
• Encourage active participation in prescribed exercise programs aimed at improving strength, flexibility, and overall well-being.
• Communicate effectively with other healthcare providers involved in the patient’s care to align treatment goals and strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will primarily focus on individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and chronic pain conditions. We serve a diverse population, including athletes, active individuals, and those seeking to regain their independence after physical setbacks. By providing individualized care, you will help clients overcome obstacles to achieve their desired physical goals and enhance their quality of life.

Qualifications

• Earned a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT).
• Possession of a valid Virginia state license as a Physical Therapist.
• A clean professional record, free of any board or disciplinary actions.
• Strong skills in manual therapy and exercise protocol development.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) software, particularly WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated success in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans.
• Experience working as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience, alongside a comprehensive benefits package.
