Work Environment

This full-time role is performed onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility. You will be welcomed into a collaborative atmosphere, where communication and teamwork are essential. Our facility includes modern equipment and technology to support your practice, including an electronic medical records (EMR) system, with a preference for WebPT to streamline documentation and promote effective patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of new patients, incorporating their medical history, current symptoms, and functional impairments to develop customized therapy plans.
• Implement and monitor treatment sessions for 1-2 patients per hour, utilizing evidence-based techniques such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and advanced modalities.
• Set and document measurable goals for each patient, continually assessing progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment progress, home exercise programs, and injury prevention, fostering an understanding of their recovery process.
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate documentation through our EMR system, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards while facilitating seamless communication within the healthcare team.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily involve treating patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. We cater to a diverse clientele, focusing on individualized care that promotes functional independence. Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• An active Virginia Physical Therapist license is mandatory.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience working in a physical therapy setting, preferably in orthopedic rehabilitation, is strongly desired.
• Established skills in working with electronic medical record systems, particularly WebPT, will be beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, our comprehensive benefits package includes:
