Work Environment

This full-time, onsite position allows you to work predominantly in home care settings. You will be ensuring that patients receive one-on-one individualized attention in a comfortable and familiar environment, enhancing their therapy experience and boosting their motivation. Key Responsibilities

Your daily responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations to assess patient needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Implementing exercise programs, utilizing both manual therapy techniques and therapeutic modalities.
• Monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery.
• Educating patients and their families on exercises to perform at home and self-management strategies to promote independence.
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of patient progress in adherence to regulatory requirements.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and musculoskeletal disorders. You will create individualized rehabilitation programs that emphasize functional improvements and pain management, helping clients regain mobility and achieve their personal health goals.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program recognized by the American Physical Therapy Association.
• Current state license as a Physical Therapist in Virginia.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting.
• Exceptional manual therapy skills and proficiency in soft tissue mobilization.
• Strong assessment abilities, particularly in a “Direct Access” environment, allowing for immediate intervention.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of clinical experience is required, candidates with advanced training in orthopedic or manual therapy techniques and specific certifications such as Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) will be preferred. Additionally, familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems will enhance your integration into our team.

Compensation and Benefits
