Work Environment

Structured from Monday through Friday, your typical work shift comprises 40 hours focused on providing individualized care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to develop personalized treatment plans based on patients' needs, ensuring alignment with physician referrals.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, monitoring progress and adjusting treatment modalities as needed to maximize patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance service delivery and ensure a unified approach to patient health.
• Facilitate patient education regarding their conditions, therapeutic techniques, and home exercises to empower individuals in their healing journey.
• Demonstrate outstanding customer service, fostering a welcoming and supportive environment for all patients.
• Monitor and meet utilization goals while contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the clinic.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be treating a diverse patient population that includes individuals with orthopedic conditions, sports injuries, pediatric needs, and neurological disorders. Patients come to us at different stages of their recovery, from post-operative rehabilitation to long-term pain management. Your role is pivotal in guiding them through their healing process with compassion and expertise.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A valid State License in Physical Therapy is mandatory.
• At least two years of clinical experience in a related setting, with a strong focus on orthopedic care.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and colleagues.
• Proficiency in word processing and electronic health record systems to document patient progress accurately.
• A proven ability to establish meaningful relationships with patients, ensuring they remain committed to their care plans and achieve their functional goals.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a multi-disciplinary clinic environment, demonstrating the capacity to work collaboratively with various healthcare providers.
• Prior exposure to treating a broad range of conditions, including but not limited to, sports injuries and chronic pain management.
• Competence in developing and executing group therapy sessions focused on community wellness and rehabilitation.
