Work Environment

Our rehabilitation facility is designed with both function and comfort in mind, featuring private treatment rooms and open gym spaces equipped with state-of-the-art rehabilitation technology. As a therapist in our clinic, you will enjoy a low-pressure, collaborative environment where communication among team members is key. Working hours are typically set from Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients presenting with diverse musculoskeletal and orthopedic conditions.
• Develop and implement personalized and progressive care plans aligned with patient goals and functional needs.
• Utilize a range of treatment modalities, including manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and advanced methods such as dry needling and cupping (if certified).
• Educate and guide patients on injury prevention strategies, postural correction, and long-term wellness initiatives.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers, including orthopedic surgeons, chiropractors, and athletic trainers, to ensure integrated care for our patients.
• Maintain accurate and organized documentation using our electronic medical record (EMR) system, in compliance with both state and federal requirements.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will primarily involve outpatient individuals who are recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, or chronic pain conditions. You will work with a diverse patient demographic ranging from athletes looking to enhance performance to elderly patients recovering mobility and strength. Enhancing patients’ quality of life through tailored rehabilitation and therapy is at the heart of our practice.

Qualifications

• Must have a Doctorate or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Possession of, or eligibility to obtain, a current Virginia Physical Therapy license.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist, preferably in an outpatient orthopedic setting.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in dry needling, vestibular rehabilitation, or sports performance rehabilitation is highly regarded.
• Strong interest in continual professional development through ongoing education, particularly in manual therapy certifications and orthopedic specialties.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with proven ability to motivate patients and foster positive relationships.

Compensation and Benefits
