This is a full-time, remote opportunity working alongside our in-person sales team based in Wilmington, NC.As a member of our inside sales team at Untappd, you'll play a crucial role as a Business Development Representative (BDR), engaging with qualified leads to schedule sales opportunities for our Account Executives. Untappd is a leader in the beverage/alcohol industry. Join us as we establish thriving relationships with businesses such as bars, breweries, bottle shops, restaurants, and retail establishments.Key Responsibilities:* Prospect bar, brewery, bottle shop, restaurant, and retail businesses through cold calling, emailing, and Facebook messaging.* Meet or exceed assigned daily activity targets.* Apply the Challenger Sales approach to prospecting, overcoming objections, closing deals, and leading conversations.* Identify and manage success indicators through self-management and data analysis.* Establish the need for and value of our product, identify key decision-makers, and schedule demos.* Manage your pipeline from cold call to demo held.* Collaborate closely with our sales management team for skill enhancement and personal growth.* Utilize assigned sales automation tools according to company guidelines.* Exceed personal and team goals while contributing to peer learning and mentorship.* Receive frequent one-on-one feedback sessions with your Sales Manager for continuous development.Training and Development:Our comprehensive onboarding program includes a 3-day class room style training followed by a 1 to 4 month ramping period. During this time, you'll receive detailed performance targets and coaching to ensure your success in the BDR role. Through our holistic training approach, you will:* Identify and address the needs of various beverage alcohol-based retailers.* Initiate contact and smoothly transfer opportunities to Account Executives.* Become proficient in an outbound transactional sales model.* Develop self-management and time-management skills.* Expertly schedule product demos every day until it becomes second nature.* Contribute directly to the rapid growth of Untappd and the sales team.### Location & Commitment:For applicants located outside of the Wilmington, NC area:

This position follows a remote work model. New hires will complete an initial training and ramping period, which will primarily be conducted virtually. Depending on training class size, business needs, and team location, there may be occasional opportunities or requirements for in-person training.For applicants located in the Wilmington, NC area:

This position follows an in-person/hybrid work model. Applicants who are located in the Wilmington, NC or surrounding area will be expected to work from our Wilmington office and will follow our in-person/hybrid work model, even if they apply through this remote posting.
