Key Responsibilities\n

• Thoroughly assess clients to evaluate the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms, tailoring the approach based on individual needs.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based therapies, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, available treatment options, and self-care strategies, fostering a holistic approach to mental wellness.

• Regularly monitor client progress by documenting responses to treatment in line with ethical and legal standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with clients suffering from mood disorders including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Our clients vary from different backgrounds, including vulnerable populations such as individuals facing homelessness, refugees, and survivors of domestic violence. This role requires sensitivity and understanding towards the challenges these groups face while providing compassionate care that fosters healing and growth.
