Job Details

We are currently seeking a Litigation Defense Attorney to join our dynamic legal team.

This role offers a unique opportunity to represent clients in the commercial transportation industry. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of civil litigation defense experience.

Responsibilities:

• Representing clients in all stages of litigation, including pre-trial preparation, trial, and appeals.
• Managing a diverse caseload of commercial transportation and construction defense matters.
• Developing and implementing litigation strategies to achieve favorable resolutions for our clients.
• Conducting thorough legal research and analysis to identify potential legal issues and provide sound legal advice.
• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and settlement agreements.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients by providing exceptional client service.
• Collaborating with other attorneys and legal professionals to ensure a coordinated and efficient approach to case management.
• Staying updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends to provide proactive legal guidance to clients.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice in NJ. PA is a plus.
• 2+ years of civil litigation experience, preferably in insurance defense or related practice area.
• Proven track record of successfully defending clients in complex litigation cases.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and negotiation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and projects, with a keen attention to detail and deadlines.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Commitment to maintaining the highest level of professional ethics and confidentiality.
• Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
