Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations of patients to determine their specific physical therapy needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to each patient, ensuring to implement, re-evaluate, and modify strategies as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment protocols, exercise techniques, and home care strategies to enhance recovery.
• Document all treatment and progress notes accurately in compliance with regulatory guidelines, ensuring optimal reimbursement and continuity of care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including orthopedic surgeons and primary care providers, to facilitate comprehensive patient care and address any potential barriers to recovery.
• Participate actively in community outreach initiatives and marketing efforts aimed at promoting health education and wellness.
• Engage in ongoing professional development by attending workshops, continuing education programs, and facility meetings to enhance clinical competencies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure and BLS certification are mandatory.
