Join a dynamic healthcare environment as a pharmacist serving a 75-bed hospital in Medford, WI. This travel assignment offers an opportunity to apply your expertise in a fast-paced inpatient pharmacy while supporting multiple departments including Med/Surg, OB/GYN, ICU, emergency, and oncology.

Location:

• Medford, WI

Schedule:

• Primarily 10-hour day shifts
• Rotating weekends requiring 8-hour shifts

Responsibilities:

• Oversee multiple concurrent tasks in the central inpatient pharmacy, including verifying EPIC orders
• Review and approve technician work to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Respond promptly to pharmacist inquiries and phone calls
• Dispense and manage inpatient and outpatient IV medications, inpatient unit dose medications, and outpatient chemotherapy
• Support patient care across a range of departments, with an average inpatient census of 30-40

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Licensed pharmacist with hospital pharmacy experience
• Proficiency in EPIC system for order verification and documentation
• Experience managing inpatient and outpatient chemotherapy and IV therapy
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced clinical setting
• Strong communication skills with pharmacy team and clinical staff
