A pharmacy position is available for a travel pharmacist at a small 40-bed hospital in Northern Central Wisconsin. This is a contract role starting as soon as possible with an assignment length of 13+ weeks. The hospital is flexible and offers both a traditional 4x10-hour shift schedule (7 a.m. to 5 p.m., including rotating weekends) or a blocked schedule of 7 days on, 7 days off during day shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple responsibilities in a central inpatient pharmacy environment including verifying medication orders through EPIC, reviewing technician work, and responding to pharmacist phone inquiries.
• Provide pharmaceutical services including inpatient and outpatient IV preparations, inpatient unit dose medications, and outpatient chemotherapy preparation.
• Support care across various departments such as Med/Surg, OB/GYN, ICU, outpatient oncology, emergency department, and inpatient and outpatient surgeries.
• Handle an inpatient census averaging 30-40 patients.

Desired Experience:

• Licensed pharmacist with experience in inpatient and outpatient pharmacy practice.
• Proficient with EPIC pharmacy information systems.
• Capable of multitasking and managing diverse pharmacy operations in a hospital setting.
• Familiarity with oncology and IV chemotherapy preparation preferred.

• Northern Central Wisconsin, within easy travel distance to the Abbotsford area.
