A dynamic opportunity is available for a licensed pharmacist to provide essential pharmacy services in a small, 40-bed hospital setting within Northern Central Wisconsin. This role involves travel and offers a flexible schedule to accommodate your preferences while delivering critical patient care in a variety of clinical areas.

Location:

• Northern Central Wisconsin, Medford area

Schedule:

• 4x10-hour shifts, days from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., with rotating weekends
• Alternatively, a block schedule of 7 days on and 7 days off is considered

Duration:

• Approximately 13 weeks with an immediate start

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders using EPIC and oversee technician work to ensure accuracy and safety
• Manage phone consultations as required to support pharmacy operations
• Prepare and dispense inpatient and outpatient IV medications, unit dose medications, and chemotherapy treatments
• Support a patient census averaging 30-40 inpatient individuals across departments such as Med/Surg, OB/GYN, ICU, oncology outpatient, emergency department, and surgery

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid pharmacist license
• Experience with EPIC pharmacy systems preferred
• Proficiency in managing inpatient pharmacy operations in a hospital setting
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously
• Comfortable with inpatient chemotherapy preparation and administration
