Floor Nurse (RN/LPN) - Evening Shift

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shift: 245 PM - 11 PM, Every Other Weekend (EOW)

Job Description

The Floor Nurse (RN/LPN) will provide compassionate care to residents in a Long-Term Care/Skilled Nursing Facility with a total of 300 beds across multiple units. Responsibilities include medication administration, wound care, monitoring vitals, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Medication and treatment administration, including IV medication and TPN.
• Conduct assessments, charting, and incident reporting.
• Perform wound care, including measurement and monitoring.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and provide patient support.
• Monitor vitals and administer oxygen therapy as needed.
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians and therapists.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN or LPN Licensure.
• BLS Certification.
• Prior experience with PCC is preferred; limited training will be provided.
• Experience in measuring wounds (but not staging).
