Job Title: Warehouse Worker Job Description

Join our team and operate double wide forklifts, including 2/3/4 stage lifts, to efficiently load and unload freight trucks and rail cars carrying beer, wine, soft drinks, spirits, and more at our Swan Island location. You will be moving full pallet loads around the warehouse using primarily sit-down electric forklifts and utilizing RF scanning systems with scannable barcodes on the floor and on placards.

• Operate double wide forklifts, including 2/3/4 stage lifts.
• Load and unload freight trucks and rail cars full of beverages.
• Move palletized full pallet loads around the warehouse.
• Utilize RF scanning systems for inventory management.
• Ensure accurate picking, packing, and shipping of orders.

• 1+ year experience in a distribution facility, specifically with forklifts.
• Proficiency in forklift operation and material handling.
• Experience with inventory management and RF scanners.
• Ability to operate sit-down electric forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes.

• Experience with reach trucks and order picking.
• Familiarity with stockroom and packing processes.

Work in a large, temperature-controlled warehouse facility maintained at 50-60 degrees year-round, surrounded by a vibrant atmosphere with beer and wine products. The facility is equipped with modern technology to support efficient warehouse operations.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Portland, OR.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
