Occupational TherapistThe Occupational Therapist (OT) is a critical member of the student support services team, responsible for evaluating, designing, and implementing comprehensive occupational therapy interventions to support students' academic, social, and developmental success.Reports To: Special Education DirectorFLSA Status: ExemptSchool Classification: Classified, Salaried, hourlyCompensation: Full-time: $75,000 yearly Part-time: $40.00-50.00 per hourWork Schedule: 12 monthsLocation: Onsite OfficeGeneral DutiesConduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations for studentsAssess fine motor skills, sensory processing, and visual-motor integrationDevelop detailed assessment reportsIdentify student strengths and areas for interventionUtilize standardized and informal assessment toolsConsult with classroom teachers and special education staffProvide recommendations for classroom accommodationsDevelop strategies to support student learningCollaborate with parents and familiesStay updated on best practices in pediatric occupational therapyQualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
