Job Summary
The Healthcare IT Support Specialist will assist the Director of Operations and other Healthcare IT Support Specialist in fulfilling required duties in our Systems Integration and Customer Service with minimal supervision. Establishing and maintaining customer loyalty is of paramount importance. The ability to learn new technology rapidly and practically apply knowledge to Healthcare IT business situations will be essential for long term success. You will successfully be able to install, maintain and repair computers and servers. The ideal candidate will be able to work diligently and accurately and will possess a great problem-solving ability in order to fix issues and ensure functionality.

Ideal Candidate:
• Passionate about technology and customer service
• Degree and/or Certification in Engineering, Computer Science or other relevant IT disciplines.
• Two or more years of experience in implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of computer systems, servers, and networks
• Experience with networking, workstation and server hardware, Windows Server 2019/2016/2008, Windows 7/8/10
• Experience with firewalls, internet VPN’s remote implementation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution
• Willingness to travel to client sites with an occasional overnight stay
• Experience in EHR, DICOM, PACS, and RIS healthcare technologies desired
• Exceptional written and verbal communication, organizational and time management skills
• Ability to develop positive relationships with employees, clients and vendors
• Willingness to learn medical industry terminology, technology and concepts
• Must be able to occasionally lift heavy objects
• Must be able to see indicator lights and hear audible indicator tones

Daily Duties:

• Assist in the customization and implementation of hardware and software for new client systems
• Assist in providing daily phone support to end-users in an efficient manner
• Provide on-site service to client sites when necessary
• Complete Planned Maintenance for client systems
• Assist in maintaining internal information technology systems
• Assist in the procurement of hardware and software for client implementations
• Accurately document departmental and client information
• Complete ad-hoc projects assigned by management
• Embrace, support and advance the stated mission and strategic priorities of LAMB Technologies
