Physical Therapist I: Full Time Days, Atlantic Rehabilitation, Clark

JOB DESCRIPTION

Atlantic Health is seeking a skilled and compassionate full‑time outpatient Physical Therapist to join Atlantic Rehabilitation at the Clark location. This position requires a five‑day, eight‑hour schedule (Mon & Wed 11a‑7p, Tue & Thu 7a‑3p, Fri 9a‑5p).

WHAT YOUR DAY MIGHT LOOK LIKE

Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop patient‑centered treatment plans Collaborate with physicians and fellow rehabilitation team members Communicate with patients and families to ensure understanding and continuity of care Support various appointment types and adapt care plans as needed

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

Essential functions include patient evaluation, establishing plans of care and treatment programs, providing interventions, providing patient and family education, documenting interventions, and billing appropriately. Supports Lead Clinicians in competency development and implementation. Participates in orientation of new staff members, serves as a clinical instructor for students, and exercises independent judgment of moderately complex cases with minimal to no supervision.

QUALIFICATIONS

New Jersey License to practice Physical Therapy. Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy academic program. New graduates are welcome to apply. 1–3 years of experience in a hospital‑based outpatient setting (preferred).

Atlantic Rehabilitation offers comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services, including physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, audiology, wound care management, and more. The team is composed of highly trained professionals such as physiatrists, internists, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, rehabilitation nurses, physical, occupational, and recreational therapists, speech‑language pathologists, social workers, psychologists, vocational rehabilitation counselors, dieticians, audiologists, and care managers.
