Accounts Payable Specialist

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for processing vendor invoices, performing reconciliations, and supporting month-end close activities. You will be an integral part of our finance department, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices accurately and timely by validating invoice details, purchase orders, receiving documentation, and coding requirements prior to entry into the ERP system.
• Perform three-way matching of purchase orders, receipts, and invoices to ensure transactions are properly supported and compliant with company policies.
• Reconcile vendor statements and accounts payable subledger balances to identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies, aged items, and unapplied transactions.
• Research invoice exceptions, pricing variances, duplicate invoices, and unmatched receipts by collaborating with vendors, purchasing, receiving, and business stakeholders.
• Assist with month-end close by preparing actual support, responding to audit requests, and providing documentation for accounts payable related reconciliation and reporting.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in accounts payable processes and high-volume invoice processing.
• Experience with three-way matching and full cycle accounts payable.
• Strong skills in bank reconciliation, coding, and purchase order management.
• Ability to handle processing of up to 200 invoices daily.
• Proficiency in using Excel, specifically with SUMIF and pivot tables.
• Experience with Oracle Fusion or similar ERP systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 3 years of relevant experience with a degree, or 4 years without a degree.
• Experience with Oracle Fusion is preferred.

Work Environment

This position is based on-site in a commercial building adjacent to the Del Amo Shopping Center. The work schedule is 40 hours a week, with flexible start times between 7 AM and 9 AM. The office occupies a newly leased building with five floors, two of which are currently unoccupied.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $32.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
