Description: Secretary for Faciliites and Operation Departments the 2026/2027 School Year


Job Summary:

• Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred in Business Administration, Public Administration, Operations Management, Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of three to five years of successful secretarial, executive administrative, facilities, operations, or business office experience, preferably in a public school district environment
• Demonstrated proficiency in technology systems and productivity software through certifications, training credentials, or documented experience in:
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
  • Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Forms, Calendar)
  • Artificial Intelligence (AI) productivity and analytics tools used to improve workflow efficiency, reporting, communication, data analysis, scheduling, and operational management
• Advanced proficiency in:
  • Spreadsheet development and analytics
  • Database management
  • Scheduling systems
  • Electronic document management systems
  • Report generation and presentation development
• Ability to analyze operational data and prepare detailed reports and summaries for administration
• Knowledge of New Jersey public school purchasing, operational procedures, and compliance requirements preferred
• Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive information
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously
