Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as an onsite Occupational Therapist supporting students across various grade levels near Bear, DE. This assignment runs from August 25, 2026, through June 8, 2027, and offers the chance to make a meaningful difference in children's lives. With three openings available, you'll work in either elementary or secondary school settings, helping students gain valuable skills for academic and daily living success.

Openings include:

• Lancashire and Maple Lane Elementary (split assignment)
• Mount Pleasant Elementary
• Middle and High School (split assignment)

Key Qualifications:

• Active Delaware Occupational Therapist license (required to be considered)
• Experience in school-based OT preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently across diverse caseloads
• Candidates must supply a current resume
• Willingness and ability to pay $85 for required CBC fingerprinting (confirm agreement before proceeding)
• Only OT candidates will be considered (COTA not eligible, as supervision is not available)

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students in accordance with IEPs
• Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to support student needs
• Assess, document, and report on student progress and adjust interventions as necessary
• Travel between designated sites as needed for split assignments
• Engage in IEP team meetings and contribute to program planning
• Maintain compliance with district and state regulations
